Film Companies

Film 4
Film4 (owned by channel 4) is a TV channel in the UK and Ireland which screens films. It focuses on broadcasting many mainstream Hollywood films. Occasional film-related programmes are also shown. The company is known for backing a large number of films. Examples are '127 Hours', 'Kill List', 'Attack the Block', 'Shaun of the Dead' and 'Slumdog Millionaire'.

Warp
Warp films is an independent film production based in the UK with a further company based in Australia. An example of the films they have produced are 'This is England', 'Submarine', 'Kill List' and 'Four Lions'.

Screen Yorkshire
Screen Yorkshire is a specialist business which invests first in developing and upcoming production talent. Examples of films it has supported are 'Wuthering Heights', 'This Is England' and 'Into the Woods'. 

British Council
The British Council do many things to support the country however their arts sector the work with creative talent to develop great ideas and collaborations with institutions around the world. Examples are 'Macbeth'.
